47/48 – V41000 Series
V41000 Series valves are designed for applications involving pressure drops and temperatures beyond those for which the V21000 Series are suitable. V41000 Series valves are equally suited for gas and liquid applications; both low noise and anti-cavitation trim are available.
Key Design Characteristics are:

High Capacity with Low Recovery
Capacity for the V41000 Series valve exceeds the levels established for contemporary cage-type globe valves. These capacities are attained with low pressure recovery. as indicated by high critical flow factors of 0.90 to 0.94.Thus the possibility of cavitation on liquid service is minimized.

High Allowable Pressure Drops
The V41000 Series will handle a wide range of pressure drops encountered in severe services.

Tight Shutoff
Single-seat leak tightness in accord with ANSI B16.104, Class IV or Class V can be provided.

Wide Temperature Range
The V41000 Series handles temperatures from -195°C ~ 566°C.An extension bonnet is available for
temperatures above 201°C and below -18°C.

Simple, High Performance Trim Packages
Virtually every valve is available with standard and reduced CV′ s. In addition, interchangeable LO-DB
Trim is available for noise attenuation and cavitation protection.

High-Performance Materials are Standard
Without exception, V41000 Series materials have been selected to handle the maximum inlet pressure and maximum pressure drop in their temperature range. So, specification is simplified and longevity on any application is assured.
